What is it?

  • Communication is one of the most essential part of everyone’s digital life. This Workshop aims to provide the core concepts of networking, live demonstration of network hardware devices, hands on training with network software and troubleshooting some network issues in your day-to-day life.

  • Course Content

    DAY 1

  • Introduction to Networks and the Internet
  • Describe computer networks in terms of the five-layer TCP/IP model
  • Understand all of the standard protocols involved with TCP/IP communications
  • Hands on training with Cisco Packet Tracer and Wireshark Packet Analyzer

  • DAY 2

  • Understand and implement the concepts of subnetting, VLANs, VPNs
  • Learn how data flows through your college campus and your home
  • Demonstration of networking hardware and components
  • Grasp powerful network troubleshooting tools and techniques

  • Prerequisites

  • No prior networking knowledge is required
  • Windows 10 is preferred
  • Stable internet connection

  • General Rules

  • The meeting link for the registered events - if any, will be sent to the registered email ID and will also be available in the participant's dashboard.
  • Login for various events must be done only using the registered e-mail ID. Else, entry will be denied.
  • For any sort of online test platform, ONLY Yuktaha ID must be used as name/nickname. Else, the participant will be disqualified.
  • Only individual participation is allowed for the events.
  • Judge’s decision is final for all events and may not be subject to any discussions or correspondence.
  • Events will be conducted only during the specified timings in the event rules. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.
